Oh Christmas tree...
So, the tree has been up for a week now (yea, I know I'm late posting) and it looks pretty good! DS is so excited this year much like last year. He picked out the tree again; guess that will be our tradition until he no longer wants to do so.
Now we need to get some gifts under the tree :0. The other day, ds says "mommy, you need to get shopping FOR ME." Out of the mouths of babes.
Christmas will be lean this year since I STILL don't have a job and unemployment just ran out. I guess I'll figure it out. Trying to keep my head up and find some Christmas spirit this year. Seeing ds' face everyday when he runs in and turns the tree on definitely helps me to keep things in perspective and remember what's important.
