Sick and single parenting...

How do you do it? I'm not sick often, which is a good thing. Little one had a little virus at the beginning of the week and I think I've picked it up...yuck! While it didn't seem to affect him much, it's taking more of a toll on me. Today I'm really not feeling well. He was supposed to have his first sleepover tonight but I just can't. I don't think I can handle one 7yr old boy, let alone two!

It's bad enough to be sick but it's tough to be sick and still have to parent (especially with no in home help). The little one doesn't really understand "mommy doesn't feel well."

So to the others that are parenting alone...how do you handle being sick and still having to take care of the home/kid(s)?
